Services Offered
Dimensions Formative Counseling is a private practice with a Christian foundation serving individuals including children & adolescents in the Kalamazoo area. In Martin Luther King, Jr.’s book The Measure of a Man Dr. King writes, “There are three dimensions of any complete life to which we can fitly give the words of this text: length, breadth, and height,” (King, 1959, p.16). The mission of Dimensions Formative Counseling, PLLC from a humanistic perspective, is to work with the client to reset, reframe and realign the dimensions of their lives to achieve holistic wellness for meaningful living.
Youth & Adolescent Therapy
Helping your child or adolescent develop their sense of identity can be challenging. You want to shield your child from the hurts of the world while they are seeking to understand their place in it. Partnering with you and your child to build safety and connection can enhance your familial relationship and their identity development.
Adult Therapy
Many believe that addressing mental health is only necessary for unique circumstances. This myth keeps individuals from being curious about their own self-discovery and finding their authentic self. Guiding you through this process in a supportive and nonjudgmental space allows for self-reflection, growth, and healing.
